1. Launch EaseUS free partition tool, right click the partition behind the recovery partition, choose "Resize/Move partition".
2. Drag the partition handle leftwards to shrink the partition to carve up some unallocated space for the recovery partition. If there is unallocated space behind the recovery partition, please skip step 1 & 2 and directly go to step 3.
3. Move the recovery partition rightwards to let the unallocated space be behind the recovery partition and click "OK".
4. Select the recovery partition, right click and select "Resize/Move partition", drag the partition handle rightwards.
5. Click "Apply" ans save all the chages to extend recovery partition.
If you don't want to extend recovery partition, you can also try to disable low disk space warning on recovery drive in Windows 10/8/7. It's easy, just change the registry settings, and then you will no longer get the You are running out of disk space on recovery d error message.
1. Click START–>RUN and type REGEDIT. Click OK.

then SOFTWARE

then CurrentVersion
then Policies
then Explorer
HKEY CURRENT USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
3. Double-click on NoLowDiskSpaceChecks if it exists. If it doesn't, right-click on ADVANCED and Select NEW–>DWORD VALUE and name it NoLowDiskSpaceChecks
4. Set this value to 1 to disable the low disk space warning message.
5. Save and close the Windows registry.
6. Reboot
