Method 2. Sync your iPhone with iCloud Backup

iCloud Backup is a part of iCloud service, it will backup your call history, messages, ringtones, photos and videos on iCloud storage. Since Apple provides a 5 GB space, it could be a waste if you just leave it there. What's more, backup you iPhone with iCloud could also prevent your data loss just in case.

Please notice that this method will also clear all the original data on your iPhone. What's more, iCloud only provide 5GB storage for all kinds of data on iCloud, and it will be highly affected by the Wi-Fi speed.

Step 1. Go to Settings>[your name]>iCloud>iCloud Backup on your other iOS device.

Step 2. Tap Backup Now. You can delete some data to make iCloud backup faster.

Step 3. Unlock your iPhone and go to Settings>General>Reset.

Step 4. Tap Erase All Content and Settings and enter the passcode to confirm.

Step 5. Follow the guide to set up this iPhone, stop at the screen App & Data.

Step 6. Tap Restore with iCloud and log in with your Apple ID. This step will add your device to Apple account too.

Step 7. Follow the guide and download data from iCloud Backup.
