How to Print Photos from iPhone X/8/7 with or without AirPrint

There are generally two ways to print photos from your iPhone, no matter it's new iPhone X/iPhone 8 or earlier iPhone 7/iPhone 6. One is to use AirPrint to print pictures from your iPhone directly on your device, the other is to transfer your iPhone photos to computer first and then print the photos from your computer. Tip 1: Print iPhone photos with AirPrint

With the built-in feature, AirPrint, on your iPhone, you can print pictures from your iPhone directly over the WiFi network connection. But there are some requirements you need to meet while using AirPrint:

  • Your printer is AirPrint-supported.
  • The App you want to print photos from supports AirPrint.

If your devices meet the requirements, follow the steps below to print photos from your iPhone 7/8/X with AirPrint.

Step 1. Open the Photos App (or other AirPrint-supported Apps that you want to print photos from) on your iPhone.

Step 2. Select the photos you'd like to print and click the Share button on your iPhone.

Step 3. Choose Print among the options.

Step 4. In Printer Options, choose a printer that is AirPrint supported and set the copies you'd like to make.

Step 5. Click Print to start to print photos from your iPhone.
