Additionally, if you fail to remove programs, we also collect some troubleshooting tips in Part 6 to help you out.
It is the easiest way to uninstall programs on the iPhone. With this method, you don't have to worry about throwing away paid apps, because all purchased application software is attached to your Apple ID, and you can re-download them from the App Store without paying again. If you accidentally uninstall apps, you can quickly recover them via App Store or iTunes. Now you can follow us to delete apps:
Step 1. Go to your iPhone home screen and find the app you want to delete.
Step 2. Tap and hold the app icon until a box appears (as the picture shows below) > Select "Delete App."
If you want to delete multiple apps, you can delete them one by one by editing the Home Screen. Now follow the steps to make it:
Step 1. Go to your iPhone's home screen and find the App you want to delete.
Step 2. Tap and hold the app icon for a while until a box appears (as the picture shows below) > Tap "Edit Home Screen."
Step 3. Then, all the icons start to wiggle, and the icon gets an "X" in the upper left > Tap the "X" to remove the app.
Note: You can drag around your app icons to move them, or drag them on top of each other to make folders.
This method allows you to see how much storage space your programs are taking up. You can either delete the app that takes up the most space or just "Offload" it to uninstall the app but keep all its related data.
Step 1. Open the Settings app > Tab "General" > Choose "iPhone Storage."
Step 2. Then, all the application software will be listed on the screen, along with the storage space they are using.
Step 3. After that, you can tap the unwanted application software storage screen. Then you'll see the App's version, developer, size, and storage. You can choose the "Delete App" to remove the app and its related data permanently.
Above the list of apps, you might see a recommendation to enable "Offload App." You can enable this button to allow Apple to automatically offload apps that you haven’t use in a long time. When offloaded, all data related to this app will be stored on the iPhone.
It is very convenient to remove programs by using this way. If your iPhone version is iOS 13 or later, you can use this method to uninstall apps with ease. Notably, you cannot offload apps from the App Store.
Step 1. Open the App Store > Tap your profile picture in the upper right > Account page.
Step 2. Scroll down to the bottom of this page, and you will see a list of pending app updates, following by a list of recently updated apps.
Step 3. Slide an app title to the left, and you will see a "Delete" button on the right > Tap "Delete."
Step 4. After that, a confirmation prompt will pop up to confirm it, tap "Delete" again.
