Way 2. Transfer pictures from an old iPhone to new iPhone via iCloud

You can use iCloud to transfer any data from an old iPhone to a new one, if you have logged into the same Apple ID on both devices.

Step 1. Create an iCloud backup of your old iPhone

 

  • 1. Go to Settings on your ole iPhone and select the "iCloud".
  • 2. If iCloud is not yet activated, simply log in with your Apple ID and password.
  • 3. You can then activate the individual categories you want to store in the cloud.
  • 4. Go to “iCloud Backup” and tap on “Back Up Now” to start to back you all the categories you have chosen.

  • 1. Turn on your new iPhone. A welcome screen should appear. Follow the instructions until you reach your wireless settings.
