Method 2: Using iTunes - Drag images from the iPhone/iPad to PC

iTunes can back up all content from the iPad, iPhone, and then browse the photos in the backup on your PC and then save them to PC.

Step 1. Connect iPad or iPhone to your computer > Start iTunes > Click on your device.

Step 2. Under "Overview" you can see Backup > Activate the option "This computer".

Step 3. Click on the "Save now" button.

Step 4. Then search for these pictures on your PC (Windows XP/7/8/10) as the following route:
