How to turn off iPhone/iPad without power button

AssistiveTouch is a software control you can turn on on your iPhone or iPad. There are many things it can do for you. If you don't know how to use it, read on.

Step 1: Open "Settings" App on your iPhone/iPad and choose "General".

Step 2: Tap on "Accessibility" and scroll down to click "AssistiveTouch".

Step 3: Turn on "AssistiveTouch". Then choose "Customize Top Level Menu".

Step 4: You can choose the number of the icons according to your needs by tapping on the Plus icon or Minus icon. Then click any icon on the screen and select "Lock Screen". (There are many other options you can choose, like "Screenshot" (tap it to take a screenshot on your iPhone), "Siri" (tap it to awake Siri) and "Notification Center" (tap it to open Notification Center), to make it a shortcut in AssistiveTouch.)

Step 5: After you have enabled AssistiveTouch and turned on "Lock Screen" in it, you can turn off your iPhone or iPad without power button.
