How to send group message on iPhone 7

Before you follow the steps, there are some things you need to know. Group message could be group iMessage, group MMS or group SMS, which depends on, for example, your settings, network connection, and carrier plan. If you have turned on iMessage and you are sure your message recipients have done the same, then a group iMessage will be sent. Otherwise, your message will be sent as group MMS message or group SMS message. With this in mind, you can follow the steps below to send a group message on iPhone 7. (To send group MMS message, go to Settings > Messages and turn on MMS Messaging.)

Step 1: Open Messages App on your iPhone 7 and click the Edit icon to start a new message.

Step 2: Click the Plus icon to add the contacts as the recipients of your message.

Step 3: Edit the content of your message and click "Send" to send a group message on iPhone 7.
