iCloud backup is a free service that Apple provides for their users. It is made for keeping the information in all the devices of one user in sync. The information here includes call history, photos, videos, and etc. You can take a few easy steps to backup iPhone files.

Tips: The iCloud storage has 5 GB free, and it will be highly affected by the Wi-Fi speed. If your data is large, please consider other Method 1.

Step 1. For iOS 10.3 users and any version later than 10.2, please go to Settings>Name>iCloud. For the other iPhone users, please go to Settings>iCloud.

Step 2. Find the button "iCloud Backup" or "Backup", tap it to turn it on.

Step 3. Make sure your iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi and keep charging until the backup is done.

Step 4. After the backup, iOS 10.3 users could go to Settings>Name>iCloud>iCloud Storage>Manage Storage to check the iPhone backup data in details. The user who has iPhone runs in the iOS system earlier than 10.2, please go to Settings>iCloud>Storage>Manage Storage.

Restore iPhone data

Step 1. Connect your new iPhone to your PC via a USB cable and tap "Trust This Computer" on your device if a pop-up appears.
