Part 1: How to upload photos/videos to iCloud from PC

Before you start, you need to download iCloud for Windows from https://support.apple.com/en-hk/HT204283, sign in to iCloud on your Windows PC with your Apple ID and follow the steps below to upload photos and videos to iCloud from your PC.

Step 1: Open iCloud for Windows on your computer. (Right-click the iCloud icon on your taskbar, and choose Open iCloud Settings.)

Step 2: Click Options next to Photos.

Step 3: Select iCloud Photo Library, click Done, then choose Apply.

Step 4: Go to This PC > iCloud Photos > Uploads from your Windows PC.

Step 5: Drag and drop the photos and videos into the Uploads folder to upload photos/videos to iCloud from PC.

Step 6: Turn on iCloud Photo Library your other devices to access the photos/videos uploaded from your Windows PC. (You can also access iCloud Photos in iCloud.com.)

• On iPhone (or iPad): Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Photos, then switch on iCloud Photo Library.
• On Mac: Go to System Preferences > iCloud, choose Options next to Photos, then click the checkbox next to iCloud Photo Library.
