Part 1: How to take live photos on iPhone X/iPhone 8 in iOS 11

It's easy to take live photos on your iPhone in iOS 11, but you still need to pay attention to some details during the photo taking. Follow the steps below carefully to learn how to take live photos in iOS 11 on your iPhone X, iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus. Step 1: Go to the Camera App on your iPhone in iOS 11.

Step 2: Make sure your iPhone is in Photo Mode (the standard mode you will see when you open Camera) and Live Photo is on (the circle in the top middle of your iPhone screen is yellow).

Step 3: Tap on the big circle at the bottom of the screen to start to take live photos on your iPhone X, iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus in iOS 11. To check the live photos you have taken, you can open Photos App, go to Photos > Live Photo and then press the screen deeply and hold.
