How to Put iPhone 7 in Recovery Mode

If your iPhone can't work properly after iOS update or you have encountered some serious problems on your iPhone that common solutions can't fix, you might need to put your iPhone in Recovery Mode and restore your iPhone from iTunes backup. Read on to know the details about how to put iPhone 7 into Recovery Mode.

Step 1: Connect your iPhone 7 to your computer with a USB cable.

Step 2: Perform a hard reset to your iPhone 7. Press and Hold Sleep/Wake button and Volume Down button for at least 10 seconds. Keep holding when your see Apple logo.

Step 3: When the Connect to iTunes screen appears, you have put your iPhone 7 in Recovery Mode successfully.

Step 4: Then a window will appear in iTunes on your computer asking you to Update or Restore your iPhone 7.

Step 5: Choose "Update" if you don't want to erase the existing data on your iPhone to fix your iPhone 7. But if it fails, you will have to put your iPhone 7 in Recovery Mode again and choose "Restore" this time.
