You can surely edit photos on your iPhone directly using the steps introduced below. However, if you want to edit your iPhone photos more professionally, you may need to transfer photos from iPhone to PC and then edit the photos with some professional software.

Step 1: Open Photos App on your iPhone in iOS 11.

Step 2: Go to the album that contains the photo you want to delete and select the photo.

Step 3: Click Edit to start to edit photos on your iPhone.

  • To crop or straighten photos: Click the Crop and Straighten button at the bottom of your iPhone screen and then drag the grid tool to crop your photo or move the wheel to tilt or straighten your photo.
  • To rotate photos or change the aspect ratio of photos: After clicking the Crop and Straighten button, click the Rotate button on the left side or rotate your photo or click the button on the right side to change the aspect ratio of the photo according to your needs.
  • To add a filter to the photo: Click the Filter icon (three circles) and choose the filter that fits the photo best to apply to the picture.
  • To adjust the light and color of the photo: Click the third button at the bottom of the screen, tap on the down arrow next to the option to adjust light and color of the photo.
  • To mark up the photo: Click the three dots and choose Markup. Then you can freely mark up the photo using the brush provided or add Text/Signature/Magnifier to the photo by clicking the plus sign.

Step 4: Click Done to save the changes.
