How to fix Cannot Get Mail on iPad or iPhone


Tip 1: Check your network connection

Like most of the Apps, receiving emails in Mail App needs a network connection to work. If there is something wrong with your cellular network or Wi-Fi network, you can't expect you will get emails normally. So check your network connection first.


Tip 2: Refresh your Inbox

If you are sure that your network connection works, you can refresh your Inbox to load the emails again.


Tip 3: Re-open Mail App

Step 1: Double-click the Home button on your iPhone or iPad

Step 2: Swipe up across Mail App to stop it.

Step 3: Go to the home screen on your iPhone or iPad to open it again.


Tip 4: Re-sign into your Mail account

Step 1: Go to "Settings" App on your iPad or iPhone.

Step 2: Scroll down to choose "Mail".

Step 3: Click "Accounts" and choose the account you want to sign out.

Step 4: Then click "Delete Account" to remove that account from your Mail App.

Step 5: In the Accounts page, click "Add Account" to add the account you have just deleted to your Mail again.
