Part 2: How to extract audio from video in 3 ways

Choose one of the three methods below:

Audio Extractor

Step 1: Open a browser on your computer and visit audio-extractor.net.

Step 2: Click the Open video button and select the video you want to extract audio from on your computer. Then wait for the video to be uploaded.

Step 3: Choose a video format according to your needs, mp3, wav, iPhone ringtone, m4a, flac, ogg, mp2, or amr. (If you choose iPhone ringtone, you probably needs to transfer ringtones from computer to iPhone.)

Step 4: Click the Extract audio button to start extracting audio from the video.

Step 5: When it has finished, click Download on the screen to download the audio to your computer.

How to extract audio from video using Audio Extractor

VLC Media Player

Step 1: Open VLC on your computer and go to Media > Convert/Save.

Step 2: Click the Add button to choose the video you want to extract audio from, then click the Convert/Save button.

Step 3: Choose Audio-MP3 in the drop-down menu of Profile.

Step 4: Click Browse in the Destination section to set a storage path for the audio.

Step 5: Click Start to begin ripping audio off the video. When it has completed, go to the select folder in Step 4 to check the audio. (If you need to, you can transfer MP3 to your iPhone.)

Audacity

Note: To open video files with Audacity, you need to make sure you have installed the FFmpeg plugin on your computer.

Step 1: Open Audacity on your computer and drag the video into the Audacity window.

Step 2: If the video you choose has different audio sources, select the video source you prefer and click OK.

Step 3: Choose File > Export Audio, set a name for the audio, choose the audio format and click Save.
