How to Deauthorize a Computer with iTunes

It's not always for sure that you will use your own computer to manage music on iPhone, sometimes you may have to authorize a device to your Apple account and then deauthorize the device after the operation. Here are the methods to deauthorize your Mac and PC with iTunes.

Part 1. Find the computer you want to deauthorize

First of all, you need to know how many computers you have authorized and found the one you want to deauthorize in the list. Please be aware of that transferring files from the computer to iPhone is not the same as this computer is authorized.

Step 1. Open iTunes on your computer and update it to the latest version.

Step 2. Go to the top menu and find the option "Account".

Step 3. Click it and log in iTunes with your Apple account.

Step 4. In this panel, you will see all the devices you have authorized.

Step 5. Check the list to confirm which computer you want to deauthorize with iTunes.

Part 2. Deauthorize one computer with iTunes

In fact, there are more than just one way to transfer files from computer to iPhone, you can also use turn on Airdrop and try to transfer photos from computer to iPhone.

Step 1. Open iTunes on your computer and update it to the latest version if you like.

Step 2. You could find the option "Account" on the top menu, click it.

Step 3. Go to Account>Authorization>Deauthorize This Computer, this is the most important step to deauthorize your computer with iTunes.

Step 4. Wait a few seconds and then input your Apple account and password.

Step 5. Make sure you want to deauthorize this computer, then click the button "Deauthorize".

Part 3. Deauthorize all devices with iTunes

If you want to deauthorize all devices with iTunes at one time, you can follow this part. This will help you to deauthorize the computer that you don't have access now.

Step 1. Launch iTunes on a computer.

Step 2. Go to Account>View My Account.

Step 3. Log in with your account, this window will switch to the account panel.

Step 4. Find the button "Deauthorize All" and click it. Please notice that this "Deauthorize All" button will only appear if the number of authorized computers is more than 2.

Step 5. Wait for the popup panel, enter your id and password, please confirm again and deauthorize all the device at one time.
