How do I backup Microsoft Office before reformat my computer?

"Hi all, I'm going to reformat my DELL Laptop due to the fact that I currently have a malicious virus that I can do nothing to get rid of. And get all of the files like movies, music, and pictures backed up to my external hard drive. But, I don't know how to backup Microsoft Office. Is there any way to reformat hard drive or computer but keep Microsoft Office?"

In some cases, you are forced to reformat hard drives/computers or restore computer to factory settings. The action do help to fix errors, hardware problems or some other issues, but meanwhile, it will bring you new problems. You have to reinstall Microsoft Office and activate it again before you can use it normally later. Actually, it is really a tedious and time-consuming job. So, is there any way to keep Microsoft Office after system restore or computer/hard drive reformatting? The best solution here is to backup Microsoft Office before reformatting the hard drive or computer.

How to Backup Microsoft Office Before Reformatting Hard Drive or PC

To back up Microsoft Office before reformatting hard drive or PC, EaseUS file backup software is recommended. It is one of the most popular third-party backup utilities that allows you to back up the whole computer content including system, installed programs, settings, personal data, etc. Just taking simple steps, it can help you backup Microsoft Office before formatting or factory reset without reinstalling or reactivating. And except for backup, the program is also helpful to move Microsoft Office to a new computer. Next, let's see how to do the job with simple steps.

Step 5. EaseUS Todo Backup allows users to save the backup files to every device that is handy for you, like a local hard drive, external USB drive, SD card, network drive, or a NAS drive, plus a cloud drive of the EaseUS brand. We personally recommend users to choose the cloud drive prior to a physical drive to save important backups due to the greater accessibility, flexibility and safety.

To be able to access to EaseUS cloud, all you need is an email registration and login.

Step 6. If you're interested in an automatic and intelligent backup schedule for the next file backup task, go on with the "Options" setting. There you can encrypt a confidential file backup, compress the backup image size, or customize a backup scheme to tell the software in what time to start the next backup.
