why I couldn't find any data after I full formatted (doesn't tick the “Perform a quick format” option) the volume in Windows Vista?

We are so sorry for this. We have to tell you that the Windows Vista will erase the entire data, if you selected full format to format the volume.

We found that the reason why the data lost and never been recovered is due to the enhanced security features of Windows Vista, that when a full format is run, it writes 0's to every sector of the disk. As each sector has had something new written to it, the old data is completely erased. Whatever tools you used, the files couldn't be found and restored any more including EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard.
