Copying between different geometries

Disk Copy 2.0 can copy the source disk onto the destination disk regardless of the geometry difference between the source and destination. But you should be careful, because doing this may cause some compatibility problems. Some partition tools treat the disk as a bad disk if partition tables on that disk are not stored in the first sector of a cylinder, and a bad disk is not operable. However, EASEUS Partition Manager handles this problem without difficulties. (Partition Copy)

Setting up a partition copy needs three steps. Firstly, select a source partition, secondly select the destination disk that the source partition will copy to, finally, select the destination location on the destination disk. (selecting source partition)

You can select the source partition on "Select source partition" page. When selecting a source partition, you see the disks and partitions on the disks detected by Disk Copy 2.0 in the disk list view. The disk panel control above the disk list view shows a graphic layout of the currently selected disk or the disk contains currently selected partition, while the information field below the disk list view shows more details.

Select the desired partition. You confirm your selection by pressing [Next] button and go to the next step.

Since you need to select a partition, the unallocated space items are deactivated. The disk items are active, but the [Next] button will be deactivated if a disk item is selected.
