I ended up buying the professional version, and it recovered my files with no problems. I tried the demo version you recommended, and when it didn't crash, I downloaded the professional version, and used it. It was 4.0.1, and recovered everything in a short period of time. When you wrote me back so quickly after my first problems, I was impressed by the tech support your company offered. Thanks for being attentive; I will recommend your product!

First, let me start by saying - thank you. This product was the only product out of seven different product downloads that recovered my files. I am an IT professional and couldn't believe I lost my slave drive to a checkdisk command. arrg! I searched the net for days downloading and research various products and yours was the only one that retrieved my files, over 26130 raw files to be exact. At first glance I did notice redundancy but the first two files I check were important legal docs(tax, and rental agreements) that were recovered successfully. Thanks again. This was well worth the $79 I paid.

I want you to know that your product was great. Our hard drive/Windows program was having problems. I ended up reformatting the drive, and unfortunately erasing files along the way. However, with my brother's help, and your recovery product we were able to get most of the pictures back that were lost. Thank you.

Thank you for your reply. I will try to describe my situation here:

I believe the data loss was due to 28 bit LBA Vs. 48 bit LBA problem. This was the post I put up on (WD) Western Digital's FAQ and forum. Your company was recommended by a user on the WD forum. My Western Digital is post Reference # is 071021-000835.

I have a 250GB WD drive, and a 500GB WD drive. I use the 500GB as a backup disk. I was running Vista which supports 48 bit LBA and had backed everything up to my 500GB drive. I then removed Vista and installed Windows XP on the 250GB drive, (but not SP1 not knowing about 28 bit Vs. 48 bit LBA). This effected my 500GB backup drive. Now after going back to Vista, Explorer didn't recognize my 500GB NTFS and thinks my 500GB needs formatting.

I was not able to read, write or access the drive, so I believe the data was intact. I did download Western Digital's Data Lifeguard tools to see if that would help, but no luck. The Data Lifeguard Tools said the drive was healthy and just needed formatting. I was careful not to disturb anything.

I downloaded and installed EaseUS and first did the recovery using 'Complete Recovery'. This took over an hour and then I was presented with a folder tree that I could see all my files. I then checked the highest folder and pressed 'Next' which began recovering the files to a different disk. Once the process was complete, I had all the recovered files on disk, but when I tried to open them, Word docs just showed little squares, .xls and .pdfs said unrecognized format.

I then use Image recovery and checked off all the boxes that showed MTF or FAT. After that process, all my files were restored. Since I could not access my disk and did not try to format or partition the drive, I felt strongly that I could get my data back, and EaseUS seemed to work just fine.

I would recommend EaseUS to other people. Thanks.

Thank you so much. Today i accidentally formated my D partition, and when i realize it, i though i lost everything. I was storing all my work and personal files there for the past four years. There was about 30 GB of data i though was gone.

After purchasing your software i was able to recover 100% of my files.

I think version Data Recovery Wizard 4.0.1 is an excellent product.

The most important point is that, as someone who is just a computer user and not an engineer, I felt very comfortable using the interface. I recovered 35,000 data files that I thought had been lost forever! I would recommend it to anyone.

What a great deal to purchase the product for $80 when shipping a bad hard drive off to a data recovery center would have cost thousands....

In July of this year, I encountered the horror of finding out that a corrupted external hard drive had cost me over 6 years and thousands of JPEGs of family memories. I tried several data recovery software solutions and none could even find the files on the disk. I sent the drive out to a data recovery specialist and received an estimate of $1,500+ to restore my precious digital photos. Sure, my story...

I'm unbelievable happy I decided to use your data recovery software. Yesterday, I bought an external hard drive (last one crashed) so I could store all my personal files while I reinstalled Windows XP on my computer. I was really busy multi-tasking at the time and didn't realize that I had forgotten to move all my pictures and videos from my digital camera software over to the external hard drive......until after I had reformatted my hard drive. In fact, I ended up reformatting it twice because of problems with the first install. My wife (and I) were in tears when I told her that our pictures from the last 5 years were gone. Wedding pictures, grandparents now gone. I never thought we'd be able to get those memories back.

I figured I'd search on the internet to see if it was even possible to recover the files and how much I'd end up paying to get it done. I expected that I'd have to take my hard drive somewhere and pay $500-$1,000 and it would take a few weeks, if it was even doable at all. I was surprised to see that software was available to recover data from reformatted drives. I went with your software because it seemed to be the most appropriate for reformatted drives and the price was quite reasonable.

It was way too easy to use. It took only a minute or two to buy and download and no time at all to figure out how to use it. I was expecting to have to sift through thousands of files (100,000 recovered) to find the photos I wanted, but your search function made it easy to find and select the JPEGs and the AVI files that I needed. Your software was about to recover more than 95% of our photos and videos.

In about an hour I was able to call my wife at work and let her know we had our memories back. Some 2000 photos and 200 videos. Man, what a lifesaver.

I just like to say thank you very much for the fantastic software. Three of my hard disk had failed in succession due to faulty hardware. Each had failed for different reasons. As you can imagine I was devastated. I also had formatted one by accident and thought the data was gone for good. Yet you software managed to fix all three disks.

It is very easy and clear to use. Looks attractive, and does the job without any hassle. It was worth every cent/penny.

My only criticism is that, when it is recovering, it is not possible to minimize the window, which is quite annoying. Maybe you should put the progress bar in the main window, add a minimize button to the progress bar or minimize the main automatically as it is not accessible during recovery.

I had a slight mis-hap with 1 of my partitions (I screwed up and accidentally deleted it, ooops) and was unable to access thousands of pounds of software and data. I was a little unsure of your product at first, as there are lots of so called great recovery products' available. But after actually using it and seeing the amazingly quick and easy to obtain results I just had to write and commend you on a fantastic product! It is easily worth the price tag!!!

I would like to thank you guys for creating such an awesome piece of software. It literally recovered 7 years of lost data. I am a programmer (software engineer) and am self employed. I mistakenly RAID 0 two of my drives which had 7 years worth of data on it. I tried 2 other software packages before I got to yours and yours was the ONLY one able to recover ALL my data.

Sorry i have lost the most recent email you kindly sent to me, advising the procedure to uinstall demo Version "EASEUS recovery wizard professional" as soon i started to install the demo version application EASEUS recovery wizard professional" it prompted me to uninstall, selected continue to uninstall and then installed the full version sucessfully.

Scanned my system to recover data, application located serveral folders and file. Only thing i noticed is that in the demo version it showed native details of folder names, with the full version it shows folder with following nameing convention "dir001 dir002" and so on. Therefore if i choose to restore data to new target location will restore in this manner, directory names dir001,dir002 and so on.

Is theres a procedure where i can choose to restore the data with their original folder name.

Once again your support and your product has saved me lot of work and i am truely greatful. If you have any further advise will be greatly appreciated.

I have been working in IT for 15 years and not seen such simple Data recovery application to use product, i will deffinately be recommending it to our client, users and to organisation i work for. The product help me to recover my data after i accidently ghosted all partition on my works laptop drive using norton ghost. Never thought i would get my data back unless we send it away to data recovery specialist.
