How to use this Manual

We suggest that you read this manual from begin to end before you install and use Data Security Wizard. Inside you'll find a wealth of information about the application and the data-encryption and data-wipe processes. Experienced users may skip one or more sections; however, we sincerely suggest that you have a complete reading.

Here's an overview of each major section of the manual:

Introduction

You are welcome to the large, happy and ever-growing family of Data Security Wizard users. In this section, we will explain how our software works, list the types of systems with which it is compatible, define some data-encryption and data-wipe lingo and unveil the single most important rule of data security solutions.

Getting Started

Here's where we tell you how to install and uninstall Data Security Wizard. If the application is already installed on your computer, you should uninstall it before you install a new version.

Manual

This section is the nucleus of the manual. Here it guides you step-by-step go through the data-encryption and data-wipe processes. When you begin a new "Encrypt & Wipe" session, start with "Manual" and follow each instruction in each topic until you reach the end of "Encryption & Wipe Summary" at which point your data "Encrypt & Wipe" should be a success! If for some rare and strange reason the "Encrypt & Wipe
" didn't go as planned, you may probably find the solution to your problem in the FAQ and Troubleshooting section.

FAQ and Troubleshooting

As we said earlier, we've been in this business for a very long time. Over these years, we've collected so many questions that would fill several volumes from customers.
