I wanted 16GB from the next partition over, so I shrunk the adjacent partition and then tried to add the 16GB to the C drive. However, while doing it with EaseUS Partition Master, it's shifting the data of the other partition to accommodate the new storage size, and I calculated it would take almost 10 hours. Can I abort the 'moving data' part, or is there any better idea? Thanks!

It is not recommended to abort the operation while EaseUS Partition Master Professional is working because it may lead to unexpected data loss. The best choice is to wait patiently for it to complete.
There are two possible reasons why the task is taking too long:
Therefore, next time you encounter two adjacent partitions and there's no unallocated space on the disk while adjusting the partition space size, you can resort to the Allocate Space feature, which is faster and won't get stuck for data transfer, to transfer the free space from another partition to add to the target partition directly.
Here's how to do so:
Step 1. Launch EaseUS Partition Master and select the partition with extra free space.
Step 2. Choose "Allocate Space," select your target partition, and adjust the space size you want to transfer for it.
Step 3. Click "OK" and execute the task.
Once again, aborting operations is not recommended since it could cause data loss or more serious consequences. In addition, you can clone the hard drive to an external disk as a backup for security.
